Hi
so pleased I followed Resbie’s link from her blog – and just enjoyed the latest podcast
I’m discovering so many people who love growing the same things I’ve been planting for year!
I once gave some dwarf bean plants to a friend – a month or so later I asked her how the beans were. She looked embarrassed and then said the pods went all yellow so she threw them away. They were Roquencourt – a lovely fleshy yellow waxpod variety!!!!!
Looking forward to listening to the previous podcasts

Hi. I’ve found you through ‘Bifurcated Carrots’ and am enjoying your podcasts. I’m a sucker for anything regarding beetroot and have made a note to try ‘Rouge Crapaudine’ again next year. I tried it once and had poor to zero germination. I conducted my own taste test after last year’s harvest which I posted on my blog. But then I actually like them more earthy than sweet.
Anyway, I look forward to more listening.

If you’re interested in growing the ‘Egyptian Turnip Rooted’ beetroot variety that Rebsie mentions in the podcast, then you can buy seeds from the Organic Gardening Catalogue (http://tinyurl.com/beetroot) or Chiltern Seeds (http://tinyurl.com/beetroot2).
