Grow your own fertilizer

With the frosts approaching, the comfrey season has come to an end. If you’re planning what to grow in your garden next year, comfrey is well worth considering – if you don’t have a plant or two already – because it can mine minerals from the subsoil and store them in its leaves. And you can then use the leaves for fertilizing other plants.
