January Gardening Offers

My Calamondin orange is just starting to flower for the first time
I am moving my monthly ‘gardening offers’ post onto the blog from its old home in the articles section – it feels more at home here. If you’re not in a shopping mood, then I suggest you read about Jekka’s visit to Malaysian gardens instead :)
If you’re planning new raised beds for 2010, then have a look at Harrod Horticultural, who are offering 10% off their range of timber raised beds when you quote the discount code BED10. According to their catalogue, this offer is valid right through until the end of January.
Vote in the Grow Your Own 2010 Awards and you will be in with a chance of winning a £500, but I found their shortlists to be uninspired this year, and mainly populated by their major advertisers :(
The Green Shopping Catalogue are still offering a free copy of Through the Eye of a Needle to customers who spend over £30. They have a lovely selection of gardening tools and books (including mine!), as well as other eco-friendly stuff. And you’ll get free P&P on orders over £15 as well. The free book offer is valid while stocks last, or until 28 February 2010.
And the current crop of special offers from Suttons* includes £10 bay trees, half price courgette plants, raspberries, rhubard and tomatoes. And if you’re in the market for rhubarb plants, they have Pink Champagne and are donating £1 from each sale Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
*That’s an affiliate link, and if you click through and make an order then I will receive a few pennies. If you don’t want to help support the site, don’t use that link!
