New seeds
My local Wyevale garden centre is selling off this year’s seed packets for 50p each. We were only there because it’s next to the builders yard we went to for grow dome supplies.
Still, it seemed daft to pass up the chance of cheap seeds so I spent a few minutes searching through the bins. I didn’t go overboard, but I did get a couple of packets of things that have been on my Wants list for a while:

Soya Bean Usti, bred for the British climate. Hubby recently discovered a taste for edamame, so I’m going to try and grow some for him next year.

Watercress, which I’m hoping will grow in the ponds in the grow dome.

Land cress – supposedly just as nice as watercress and easier to grow.

And lastly, tomatillos. I’ve since realised that this is a duplicate of one I already have, but there’s a couple of years on the Use By date and I can always swap them for something else.
