I’m very excited this morning because the post has brought confirmation that I can go and see Ken Thompson (author of No Nettles Required and An Ear to the Ground) in Oxford next month.

He’s one of the speakers in the winter lecture series from The University of Oxford Botanic Garden.

Ken Thompson’s books make science accessible to ordinary mortals. They’re also great reading for those of us with a science background. No Nettles Required debunks some of the myths about wildlife gardening, and is well worth reading if you want to encourage more life into your garden.
