Porkers make pesky pests

You have to feel for allotment holders in Wantage, who have been dealing with more than your average pest problem this winter.

Apparently, a pair of stray pigs have been happily living on the allotments, and helping themselves to the veggies. The sow in particular seems to have a penchant for parsnips.

Although the pigs are nice and healthy, the allotment holders are (unsurprisingly) livid and want the piggies turned into bacon. The RSPCA are trying to find a home for them instead.

The maximum temperature in the Grow Dome yesterday was 11°C.
The overnight minimum was 0°C.
